THE BEST CHOCOLATES IN THE WORLD TO DISCOVER THIS EASTER
What better way to enter the Easter holiday, this upcoming weekend other than with some amazing chocolates! Did you know that chocolate derived from the Mesoamerican Language Nahuatl word - chocolat/ - which means "bitter water?" Cacao only becomes chocolate once sugar is added and contains about 2% of natural sugars. There are about 10 varieties of cacao with a few countries in the world that have perfect conditions to grow it. Venezuela is one of the terroirs that produces some of the best cacaos in the world, along with Ecuador, Papa New Guinea, and Madagascar. With that, we have provided a range of chocolates from around the world to pair with a variety of Taylor Fladgate ports. Some of the notes these cacaos carry are bright acid red fruit, dark blackberries and brown sugar, as well as citrus and orange blossom to name a few.
